This cake was for a little girl’s 1st birthday. It had an 8″ bottom tier and a cupcake shaped cake on top that fed approx 35 people. The bottom tier was vanilla cake with butter cream filling and the cupcake was strawberry cake with a strawberry glaze filling, then both were iced with butter cream. The cake was covered and decorated with marshmallow fondant along with some gumpaste ribbon bows and a butter cream border plus more on the cupcake top. It was bright and very girly, making it perfect for a little girl’s 1st birthday!
White/Black Wedding Cake w/Red Roses October 17, 2010
This wedding cake was the largest wedding cake I’ve ever done! It was a 16″, 12″, 8″, and 4″ tiered cake that served approx 232 without cutting the top tier. The bottom tier was white chocolate raspberry, the 2nd and top tier were white with butter cream, and the 3rd tier was chocolate. The entire cake was covered with marshmallow fondant and the dots were piped on with royal icing. The ribbon was a 1 1/2″ black satin ribbon and the red roses were provided by the florist for me to make into a topper. The “G” sitting on the cake was provided by the bride to personalize the cake.

This was a strawberry cake with cream cheese icing and decorated with marshmallow fondant. The cupcakes were also strawberry with cream cheese icing and pink liners.
