This wedding cake is my favorite wedding cake so far! It was a 4 tier cake with the tiers alternating in heights from 2 1/2″ tiers to 31/2″ tiers and fed approx 100 people. The bottom tier was a 10″ square white chocolate cake w/rapsberry filling, the 2nd tier was an 8′ round chocolate cake with butter cream filling, and the top 2 tiers were 6″ and 4″ round white cakes with butter cream filling. The cake was covered in marshmallow fondant and then hand painted to duplicate the design on the napkins and other decorations at the reception. The ribbon was a satin ribbon with a beautiful decorative broach in the center.
